Alumni and Career Centre Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) held Career Day after almost 10 years such event are not conducted. Namely, MyCareer@MOE or known as Expo on talent Recruitment, Graduate Employability and Career Talk (e-TARGET) was conducted on 5th and 6th November 2019 at Tunku Canselor Hall, USIM organized by Alumni and Career Centre, USIM with cooperation from Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE).
Recorded number of visitors reached around 6, 137 headcounts. Most of them are future graduates and USIM’s student. There are more than 90 exhibitions booths that take part and conducted live interview session. Around 2,000 job oppoturnities offered from big companies such as Malayan Banking Berhad, Mydin Malaysia, Al-Ikhsan Sports Sdn Bhd and many more.
Officiation Ceremony were completed by the presence of The Honourable Prof. Dr. Mohd Cairol Iqbal Mohd Amin, Vice Director of Higher Learning, Higher Learning Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE). Also, present, Vice Chancellor USIM,Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ridza Wahiddin, Vice Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) , Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Rushdan Mohd Jailani, Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Prof. Dato. Dr. Roshada Hashim and Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman.
Together in the Officiation Ceremony, Alumni and Career Centre with USIM Library amd USIM Press cooperation provided contributions in form of reading material and Little Free Library (LFL) to Cluster School and Adopted School under USIM. Besides, Alumni Entrepreneurs from Mawar Teraju company owned by Mr. Azhar Amin proudly contributed amount of RM30,000.00 fertilizers produced by his company collaborated with Sime Darby.
