Nik Mohd Shahril Irwan Mat Yusof Bachelor of Syariah and Judiciary with Honors, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in 2004; Graduate Diploma in Administration of Islamic Law and Justice (DAIJ), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2010 and Certificate of Mediation (The Accord Group Australia) in 2007. He is currently a Judge of the Hulu Terengganu District Syariah Court, since 2019. Previously, he served as a Shariah Officer, Terengganu Syariah Judiciary Department (2005): Chief Registrar, Terengganu Syariah Judicial Department (2006-2008); Research Officer to the Chief Syarie Judge / Judge of the Syariah High Court, Terengganu Syariah Judiciary Department (2008); Sulh Officer, MRSD Kemaman (2008-2010); Deputy Chief Syarie Prosecutor, Terengganu Syariah Prosecution Department (2010-2015); Kuala Terengganu MRSD Judge (Criminal Judge) (2015 –2016); Judge MRSD Marang (2016). He received the Outstanding Service Award, Terengganu Religious Affairs Department in 2014. In addition, he is also active in social and community programs such as the Deputy Chairman of Two Visiting Judges – Department of Prisons Malaysia session 2019-2020; Deputy Chairman of the Terengganu Syariah Officers Association (PPSNT) session 2020 – present; and also, the Liaison Chairman of the Raja Jembal Kelantan Relatives of Terengganu State Liaison Session 2008-2015.
