Riza Asma Shaari, Double Gold Special Award, Medal Gold, Excellency Award of Romanian 2014

RIZA ASMA SHAARI is a graduate from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) in the field of Industrial Chemistry. She is currently pursuing his PhD at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology under MEXT Monbukagakusho scholarship, Government of Japan. She was a Student Representative Council during 2013/2014 session and actively involved in innovation and research. She started her involvement in these fields by being a Committee Member of Innovation Competition and was inspired by the success of several FST seniors. Her achievements included the Islamic Innovation and Invention Competition (i-REKA’2014); Gold Medal in the National Innovation and Research Competition (NRIC) in 2014 and in the Community and Research Innovation (CoRIC) competition, which was held in USM and she was awarded the Best Presenter Award 2013 which was the year the award was first introduced; She has won Double Gold Special Award, Gold Medal, Excellency Award of Romanian in 2014 at the British Invention Show 2014, London, United Kingdom; Third place for The Minister of Education Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition at the University of Malaya (UM) in 2014; and also the Innovation and Research Competition (i-INOVA’ 2014) and received the Silver Medal.
